Benefits

The American Council for International Healthcare Education (ACIHE) is responsible for the accreditation of post-secondary international health training programs in the United States. Accreditation is accomplished through a peer-review process that is based on established standards and guidelines.

Benefits to educational institutions as a result of ACIHE Accreditation include:

Communication of confidence to current and potential students and their parents that quality, safety, and accountability characterize the educational institution’s international healthcare education program

Assurance to donors, administrators, and liability specialists that the international healthcare education is being conducted adheres to currently recognized standards in this rapidly evolving field
